3D printers provide an avenue for students to design solutions to projects. Likewise, educators can utilize these technologies in any subject area to tap into the engineering design process. The audience participates in activities introducing tools and methods of design connecting multidisciplinary topics and project based learning. Examples tie both ELA, Social Studies, and STEM to project based learning tools available through the use of 3D printers. Examples of projects will be presented along with sample curriculum and 3D printed objects.
